About Me

Beyond education and training, substantial life experience has molded me into a person of wisdom, character and compassion. My husband of 12 years and our school-aged daughter and I live near the woods and water, just north of Columbus.  Rounding out our family is a bulldog named Beau, equal parts silly and handsome. When I’m not working or with my family, you’ll find me hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading or volunteering in the community. As a trauma survivor, I have traveled my own mental health odyssey. I have worked through and overcome challenges in work, relationships, physical health, spirituality and finances to build a life I love.

Supporting humans achieving their dreams has been the main focus of my two decades plus professional career.  After paying my way through school with a dozen different jobs, I began working as lawyer, advocating for clients to obtain justice. I then transitioned to serving as a professor, guiding students’ pursuit of personal growth and economic advancement.  Drawn to counseling as a method of transformation and healing, I turned my attention to the potent force for change that is the inner landscape. I earned my masters in The Ohio State University’s top ten counseling program.  With consistent dedication to excellence and a high standard of care, I have supportively empowered individuals from all walks of life and with a wide array of mental health concerns, to heal and grow, tackle challenges, and make positive changes to their daily lived experience.
